EVENT FAQ's
-
How long is the event? The event starts at 2:00pm and ends at approximately 10:00pm.
-
Where is Day on the Ridge located?Day on the Ridge is held at a private estate in Eagle Ridge, accessible only through our Day on the Ridge vehicles. Guests will park at Gilroy Gardens, where they will pass through security checks and hop on a shuttle that will take them to the venue.
-
If I live in Eagle Ridge or nearby, can I park my car by the venue and walk to the event? The short answer: no. The long answer: Day on the Ridge takes its security very seriously, and we do not want to risk contraband or uninvited guests entering the event. For this reason, the only people who are allowed in will be ones who pass through our security checkpoints (located at shuttle stops) and who arrive to our welcome center from a Day on the Ridge shuttle.
-
What should I bring to the event?A valid government ID, stating you are over 21. Cash/Debit or Credit Cards to purchase merchandise and/or Ridge Row tickets. Beach chairs, towels, or blankets to sit on. Sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, and any other sun protection needed for throughout the event. Swimsuit -- yes, there is a pool at the event! Jackets or other warm layers for the evening portion of the show. Comfortable walking shoes -- the event is on 5 acres of land, much of which is on a hill.
-
What items are not allowed inside?NO ALCOHOL, NO DRUGS, NO GLASS, NO FOOD, AND NO WEAPONS OF ANY KIND. In order to provide a safe, fun, and successful event, we have created strict event guidelines that we require all guests to read before attending. Please review them in detail and understand that by not following these rules we reserve the right to refuse entrance and/or remove any guest that violates these guidelines and policies.
-
Can guests be under 21 if they don't drink?NO. All guests must present a valid government ID stating they are over 21 years of age or they will be denied access to the event.
-
How do I check in to the event? This year, we have upgraded to a ticket system, instead of the list-based system we have used in the past. Once you purchase tickets, you will receive them via email. From there, you can print them, save them to your phone as a pdf, or add them to your digital wallet. At the event, we will scan these tickets to check you in. You will not be able to enter the event if you do not have your ticket with you at check-in. We highly recommend downloading or printing the tickets ahead of time and not relying on internet for the day of the event.
-
Can I buy tickets at the door?NO. Tickets need to be purchased online in advance to the show. Those without a ticket ahead of the event will not be allowed in. Ticket sales close at midnight the night before the show.
-
What happens if the event is postponed or cancelled?Because Day on the Ridge is a non-profit event in support of St. Joseph's Family Center, your ticket is a direct donation to charity and is tax-deductible. With that said, we do not offer refunds, but we will work with ticketholders to find the right solution for our community, charity, and guests in the event of a cancellation or delay. (We've played through hailstorms and freezing weather, though -- so a cancellation is fairly unlikely.)
