St. Joseph's Family Center

St. Joseph's Family Center has been helping the city of Gilroy since 1981, when it was first founded by a group of women from the St. Mary Parish. Since then, they have constantly worked towards the goal of improving the quality of life for under resourced families and individuals with programs like food pantries, cold weather shelters, and employment services. Day on the Ridge is proud to partner with them to help those in need.

SJFC's MISSION STATEMENT

To alleviate hunger and homelessness in South Santa Clara County by providing food, housing and employment related services, and advocating for system changes to improve the quality of life for the most vulnerable people in our communities.
